Jaisalmer

THE GOLDEN FORT

The Golden Fort is one of the most famous places to visit in Jaisalmer, it is different from the rest for the forts I have visited in Jaipur and Delhi. the fort is unique in its own way. Easily accessible by rickshaw, or a steep walk to get to the fort. Architecture the intricate handcrafted works are magnificent. There is an outlook to Jaisalmer city,

Best time to visit Jaisalmer- Depending on what you want to do and what is your travel budget, here's a monthly breakup of Jaisalmer's climatic conditions so that you can easily plan when to go.

April to August: These months are the hottest in the year as they constitute the summer season. Temperatures can vary from 42 to 25 degree Celsius during this time. Afternoons can be quite hot for sightseeing and other tourist activities. Make sure you carry a strong sunscreen and wear light cotton clothes if travelling during summers. During off-season travellers with low-budget can make the most of the attractive deals offered by the many hotels in Jaisalmer.

November to March: These months constitute the winter season in Jaisalmer. It is also an ideal time to visit Jaisalmer. Sightseeing and other outdoor activities like camel ride, a desert safari is more enjoyable during this time as the maximum temperature does not go beyond 24 degree Celsius. Evenings are cooler and at night, the temperature can further drop down to 7 or 8 degree Celsius in the desert area, especially in the months of December and January.

September to October: Although these months constitute the monsoon period in Jaisalmer, very little rain is observed in this area. The rainfall is low and on some days, there will be no rainfall. The little amount of rainfall increases humidity in the overall weather of Jaisalmer. However, October witnesses pleasant weather when evenings become cooler. Also, it is during this month, the tourist season starts and the city might get crowded.

Mouthwatering cuisine--😋😋-

The cuisine offers both the varieties veg and non-veg. The food is affordable and tasty. One should try dal bati churma and Bhang (only for adults and legal food) – Cannot Be Taken To Other States Or Countries.

Timing- The visitors should also keep in mind the opening timing of the fort .i.e- 8am to 5:30pm. There is no charge or ticket to be enter the fort.

There is ample space for the vehicle with no charge. There are proper hotels, Dom rooms which provide you with a comfortable stay. For the INTERNATIONAL tourist, guides are also available so they can also explore the fort in the right way.

The people who are not travelling by their own vehicle, DO NOT HESITATE. There are many local transportations available. So there will be no hurdles.
